Worship, Prayer, Reiki, Healing, Workshops, & Support

Worship Services

We are a supportive, open, accepting and affirming congregation. We come together each Sunday at 10:45 AM to share our experiences, learn from each other, worship together, and celebrate Holy Communion. Services are message-based, interactive, and experiential, rather than the more traditional sermon-based; consisting of prayer, a message and discussion, and Holy Communion.

The message each week is based on a spiritual quote of some fashion and tied to Biblical principles. Each week a quote is posted to the blog, and then it is the topic of Sunday's message. Following Sunday, the message, or a synopsis of it, is also posted to the blog for those who could not attend. If you'd like to follow the quotes and messages on the blog, use the RSS button in the upper left part of the page. You can also click through to the blog using the link in the menu.

Reiki: Healing Sessions & Classes

You might be wondering "what is Reiki, anyway?"...Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, an energy which is all around us. Simply put, Reiki is a system by which we work with God’s Divine Spirit to bring about healing of Body, Mind, Spirit, and Emotion. Reiki itself is not tied to any particular religion. As such, anyone can learn to give, and receive benefit from, Reiki. However, it is not at all uncommon for practitioners to combine Reiki with their faith. For example, calling upon God, the healing hands of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit during a Reiki session.

Reiki can reduce physical pain, minimize dependency on medications, diminish the effects of withdrawal from chemical dependency and addictions, decrease stress, ease the effects of PTSD, and provide clarity. It is also frequently used in conjunction with prayer and meditation to enhance spiritual growth and awareness.

Receiving a Reiki Treatment is extremely relaxing and promotes wellness. There is also great benefit in learning this powerful healing technique. Learning to treat yourself puts you in control. Work on yourself daily, and see a Reiki Practitioner when you feel the need. In this way, you, not the practitioner, set a healing schedule that best suits your needs.

Private Reiki Treatment Sessions are available on an appointment basis and Reiki Classes are ongoing. Learn more about Reiki, check the calendar for the upcoming class schedule, and make a reservation for a class or private session.

Attention Licensed Massage Therapists!

The State of Oregon Board of Massage Therapists currently recognizes our Reiki Certification Classes for Continuing Education Credit. Level I and Level II training are both 6-hour classes; and each counts as 6 Continuing Education Credits. Together, the Level I and a Level II classes will satisfy your 12-hour Continuing Education Credit requirement.

Support & Discussion Groups

Support Groups are created as needs within our community arise. They are formed so that people sharing a common circumstance can come together, share their experiences, gain support from one another, and to know that, no matter the situation, God is with them. Groups are open to all - regardless of faith or religious affiliation.

There is no cost to particpate in any group. If you wish to financially support our endeavors, your donations will be greatly appreciated.

We welcome your ideas for additional groups to benefit our community. If you have an idea for a group, please send us an email.
